Four-banded Longhorn (Leptura quadrifasciata)
After I had enough looking for the butterflies I popped into Oare Marshes on the way back home to see if I could see the Bonaparte's Gull, but dipped out. I bonus bird though was this summer plumage adult Cattle Egret which flew over, I just managed a record shot (massive crop), 140th bird species of the year so far.
Jamie sad that you missed out on the Heaths. The bettle is i would suggest a Four banded Longhorn beetle. Right place and time with the Cattle Egret.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike for common name for this and yes definitely lucky with the CE.
