Littlehampton 8.3.14

I was up early Saturday eager to see the Iceland Gull in West Sussex, and it was supposed to a bright day so looked good. The bird had been performing well for others so I hope to be in with a good chance. Couldn't have been more wrong, I did mange to see it briefly, tick, along with the Glaucous but unfortunately it did not want to perform, possibly because the beach was rammed. I waited around till sunset hoping it was come into the river mouth, but didn't manage to catch up with it other than the brief sighting on the beach.

There were some Crows and Herring Gulls who were more than willing to pose.
